In 2021, my journey into the realm of AI began when I was introduced to various methods of integrating AI-based tools into my artistic practice. Intrigued by the possibilities, I delved deeper, continuously seeking ways to incorporate these tools and establish a seamless workflow that encompassed a range of technologies: from image-to-image and text-to-image generators to video editors and beyond.

What fascinated me most was the exploration of reusing, manipulating, regenerating, and re-implementing the same source material through different AI processors, resulting in a diverse array of outcomes. There was a unique beauty in observing multiple AIs engaging with the same materials, almost as if they were engaged in a dialogue with one another.

Within the context of the Art and AI UWAS course in 2021, I harnessed this technique to create a captivating work titled "Tangible Realms and Neural Dreams." This piece delved into profound themes such as body sensations, the AI's comprehension of the human form, and the exploration of queer sexuality.

Tangible Realms and Neural Dreams description text:

AI merging with flesh. How could artificial intelligence be intelligent enough to understand the complexities of the body? The feelings, the restrictions, the simultaneous euphoria, and dysphoria?

This work is about queer sexuality and self-expression in a digital age monitored by AI. What is deemed appropriate to show, and what is forced to be hidden? How does AI understand a human and based on what grounds does it monitor social online environments?
